Dr Chakraborti has been managing my treatment for secondary breast cancer for the last year. His relaxed, patient approach to a very difficult situation for myself has given me immense reassurance. His experience and comprehensive knowledge has given me the confidence to deal with my situation, and given me the belief that every possible treatment that may help me has been considered. Despite the circumstances, each consultation has been a pleasure, as my anxieties have been heard and constructively answered in, I believe, a truly honest manner.

Possibly sounds odd to say but if you do get cancer - you want Dr. Prabir Chakraborti. He immediately put me at ease, listened to my concerns and those of my Mum who comes with me to each appointment. He even makes you laugh, which you need! We always winge when our appointments over-run but it is because great Drs. like Prabir are being patient, taking the time to listen and explain in laymans terms what is wrong, why they are giving you the treatment you need, what it will do and what you can expect. Don't get me wrong, I am nervous EVERYTIME I have an appointment but I still look forward to seeing Dr. Chakraborti and his specialist nurse, the very lovely and caring Jenny. They make a great team - Thank you!

I have been a patient of Dr Chakraborti since Nov 2010, initially as a patient with primary breast cancer and also following my diagnosis of secondary breast cancer. Dr Chakraborti has always been very patient and been happy to answer the many questions I have for him at each stage of my treatment. He understands the anxiety that I feel when waiting for scan results etc and is happy to schedule tests and follow up appointments with a minimum waiting time in between which is very considerate and reduces the stress of the situation for me. I feel confident that I can ask questions and that I am listened to and that Dr Chakraborti firmly has my best interests at heart.
